The client commissioned us to literally bring out a home with a sense of intimacy from a tiny plot in between a group of two storeys houses.
The new volume follows the shape of the plot and has a differently sized outdoor corridor around.
Everything is made of prefab wooden panels to enhance the sense of warmth and privacy.
A long skylight that runs over the path from the main entrance to the backyard and a small patio at the heart of the house strengthen the strong relationship between indoor and outdoor space.
