LANDSCAPE STRIPS

The masterplan explores transverse dynamics between monofunctional islands of Lelystad’s zoning planning, suggesting a new role for Visarendreef road and for the open space surrounding it. The area is designed as a sequence of typical Dutch landscapes. The housing stock is made of two different kinds of building: a series of four storey rows and four small towers.
The project took part to international architecture competition Europan 6.
