The history of this space was very rich of superimpositions, traces and signs left over the past years by all the activities that had been here.
All the different textures and imperfections are integrated and highlighted: walls and archways are painted with gold while the new reception box is treated as an abstract plastic-made volume.
It's designed as a big lamp for the night and for occasional parties.
The project has been awarded with Premio PAI 2006 for the interior design category.
