BONICCO - LOPAPA ARCHITETTI has been founded in 2018 by the architects Claudio Bonicco and Andrea Lo Papa.
The practice started its activity in 2005 under the name "Studio74" and operates within the fields of architecture, design and research.
The practice works over a wide range of architectural scales. Current design and construction projects range from product design, to residential buildings and interior designs to workplaces (offices, commercial spaces), hotels, civic and cultural buildings, building rehab.
Since its establishment, the firm has been awarded with national and international prizes (Europan 7 and 11 Honorable Mentions, PAI 2006 and 2008 First Prize in the Interior Design Category), recognitions in architecture and urban design competitions (Confindustria Cuneo new headquarters - First Prize; Skarnu 11 Residential building in Riga, - Second Prize; Development Visions of Jurmala City Centre, 1 Pils Laukums - Second Prize; and publications (Rizoma - Young Italian Architects Biennale).
In October 2021 the office has been awarded with the First Prize for the Design Competition "Paesaggi Vitivinicoli di Langhe, Roero e Monferrato.

Claudio Bonicco

Architect, co-founder

born in 1974, studied architecture at the Politecnico di Torino, where he graduated Cum Laude in 1999 and got a PhD in 2002. He started the professional activity in 2005 with Andrea Lo Papa under the name “Studio 74”.
Between 2002 and 2013 he has been Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Torino.
From September 2013 to July 2021 he is President of the Architectural Association of the Province of Cuneo and since 2018 he works as Creative Director for the outdoor furniture brand Livintwist. In 2017 he has been a member of the Italian Jury for Europan 14 “Productive Cities” Architecture Competition.

Andrea Lo Papa

Architect, co-founder

born in 1974, studied architecture at the Politecnico di Torino, where he graduated in 2001.
Since 2001 he collaborated with the architect Duilio Damilano and in 2005 he founded his own practice with Claudio Bonicco under the name “Studio 74”.

Giacomo Toselli

Architect, 3d artist

born in 1974, studied architecture at the Politecnico di Torino, where he graduated in 2015.
He started his collaboration in 2014 and since then he focused his attention on the visualization of all the concepts and projects.
